Rev. Dr. Dari Victoria Rowen, Pastor

The Rev. Dr. Dari Victoria Rowen assumed leadership of our congregation as our pastor on July 8, 2013 after serving as our interim pastor since March 1, 2010. Thanks be to God.

Pastor Dari’s background includes a B.A. in psychology and a B.S. in social work, both from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, NC. She holds a M.Div. from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL, and her Doctorate of Ministry, also from McCormick Theological Seminary. In addition to her five years of service at First Presbyterian Church in Warren, AR, she served in North Carolina as interim director of Christian education for a 400-member congregation.

Pastor Dari was able to signal her desire to serve as our installed pastor, and we were able to call her, due to changes in our Book of Order. Now Pastor Dari serves as our installed pastor, which means that she no longer is required to hold back from full participation to insure that the future installed pastor would be able to function in that capacity when the time came.  Now Pastor can wholeheartedly participate in the life of the church as our installed pastor.
